Zoey Alexandria Wendort, a transgender voice actor, sadly passed away from complications due to an autoimmune disease. Zoey went viral a couple of months ago for voice work involving the latest Killer, “The Unknown,” in Dead by Daylight.
Zoey had GAD65-based Nonparaneoplastic Limbic Autoimmune Encephalitis and GAD65-based Stiff Person Syndrome. The former caused seizures, and the latter caused stiff personal attacks. For a person with a non-medical background, these appear to be rare diseases that afflict the brain.
In a recent post, Zoey stated he was stopping medical treatment for the disease, was often confined to bed or a wheelchair, and expressed faith in Jesus Christ.
Zoey’s work on The Unknown recently caused controversy online when Behavior released the new Killer in their “All Things Wicked” chapter for Dead by Daylight. Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical 1v4 survival horror game in which a team of four survivors try to escape a killer. It is very much a video game based on the slasher film genre, though the story background takes on more Lovecraftian elements.

What made The Unknown controversial was that it was the first Killer to be voiced by a transwoman. Ironically, the Killer as depicted was not very flattering of trans-people in general, instead looking grotesque in appearance and being a mockery of a human being.
Naturally, many trolls and other assorted folks took to X to highlight the irony of this depiction. Behavior, the company behind Dead by Daylight, has often been pushing the Woke agenda in their game with various charms to decorate your character with indicating your sexual identity. They also declared that David King, a Survivor character, was the first gay character, despite being a buff, brawling “asshole.”
None of these facts have any real effect on the actual game itself. You can play the game without engaging in the story. These things were nothing more than corporate virtue-signaling on the part of Behavior, as is all too often the case.
As for Zoey, I would like to extend my condolences to all of Zoey’s friends, family, and loved ones. While I have my disagreements with Zoey’s outlook on life, I am sorry for the suffering that Zoey went through in such a short life; I am hopeful that Zoey is with Jesus now.

Considering this Guy’s faith in Jesus even though I refuse to support the Trans Agenda, may he rest in piece.

Jesus is the answer. Zoey professed faith and I am proud to accept that and welcome them into the kingdom of Christ. Thank God for his salvation. I know there is no more pain or confusion in heaven for Zoey.

Rest in peace, that is much too young.

First time I’ve ever felt sorry for a trans. He must have had a rotten life with both that disease, plus the whole trans thing. It’s a shame there is no respawn and reroll your character in real life.

As a human being, this article is disgusting. SHE died to a terrible illness, and regardless of HER past or who SHE was as a person, she deserves just as much respect as any of our other dead. There is no need to avoid using HER pronouns like the plague, nor is there a reason to touch on behavior being “woke” in an article about the death of this poor WOMAN.
I hope that the author as well as those who see this comment take the time to educate themselves on these topics from the people of these groups. And learn why this article is so disrespectful to this transgender WOMAN who has passed.
I pray for you all, that you learn that empathy and basic human respect, regardless of personal opinions, is completely free and rewarding. God bless.

Lord have mercy on him, and kudos to the author for not bowing to the rainbow calf by using the Orwellian neo-pronoun gobbledygook.
